Spring Book Sale

April 28 and 29, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Literacy Council friends will certainly want to attend the spectacular Spring Book Sale to be held on Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Literacy Council office, 2855 Annandale Road, Falls Church. All proceeds from the sale go to support the Council's educational programs.

With hardback books selling for $1.00 and paperbacks selling for 50 cents, it has got to be one of the area's best bargains. Take advantage of the "Special Book" section which features beautiful new books at bargain-basement prices.

The Council is also looking for additional books for the sale. People interested in donating used books should drop them off at the Council office. We accept hardback and paperback books that are in good condition. We do not accept encyclopedias that have been printed before 1995, Readers Digest collections, or magazines. All donations are tax-deductible.

Join us for a cup of coffee, a muffin, and a new book or two. Come join in the fun and help us teach others the difference a book can make. Happy reading!
